Bob and Sas Argentine’s eight year old cairn, Misty, starred as “Toto” in their church’s musical production of The Wizard of Oz. After months of rehearsals, Misty amazed the audience with her performance: she sat in a small cart, sat un-tethered during dancing and singing numbers; calmly looked for treats while simulated thunder and lightning and percussion crashed and flashed and the farm house blew above her. The cast carried her around like a baby doll and Misty loved every minute. Many in the audience couldn’t believe she was “real” because she behaved so well. Misty was a cairn terrier ambassador extraordinaire.
